We simulated the NBA draft lottery 100 times. Here's what happened - USA TODAY

Lottery day is here, and you know what that means: The future of an NBA franchise will be determined by the bounce of ping-pong balls. 

So to celebrate one of the most cruel and unusual days in sports, we ran tankathon.com's NBA draft lottery simulator 100 times to predict how tonight will play out. There's no science behind this. We literally hit "sim lottery" 100 times and wrote down the results. 

Remember: This is the first year that the league's three worst teams (New York, Cleveland and Phoenix) all have an equal chance, 14%, to land the No. 1 overall pick (it used to be 25%, 19.9% and 15.6%), which will more than likely be used to select Duke sensation Zion Williamson in the June 20 draft.

The results

Chicago (12.5% chance for No. 1 pick): 19 wins

Cleveland (14%): 15 wins

Washington (9%): 12 wins

Atlanta (10.5%): 11 wins

New York (14%): 10 wins

Phoenix (14%): 10 wins

New Orleans (6%): Seven wins

Memphis (6%): Six wins

Dallas (6%): Five wins

Minnesota (3%): Two wins

Los Angeles Lakers (2%): One win 

Charlotte (1%): One win

Miami (1%): One win

Yes, this isn't real, but imagining Williamson in Chicago — y'know, the city where Michael Jordan changed the game forever — is just too good. No pressure, kid.
